About us

At a public meeting held at the Castle Hotel, Neath, in 1974 the Neath and Tennant Canals Preservation Society was formed.

Within three years the society formed itself into a company, limited by gurantee and registered as a charity. In 2006 the Neath and Tennant Canals Preservation Society officially changed its name at Companies House to the Neath and Tennant Canals Trust.
