Aberdulais Aqueduct

We are still awaiting the Flooding report from Natural Resources Wales. It has been agreed by all parties including CADW that nothing should be done until we have this much delayed report.

Neath’s Heritage Strategy

Much time has been spent on the the Trust’s input to this strategy as both canals play such a vital role in Neath’s industrial heritage. We have attended consultations, participated in online meetings and have made the case for the importance of caring and maintaining both canals and bringing them back to navigable waterways; the reason why they were built. We have commented on the final document which in itself says all the right things but whether all the actions will be implemented is another matter. We can but wait and see.
